Certified Family Mediator

"Balance is not something you find, it's something you create." Jana Kingsford

Sherry Benson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Critical Certified Trauma Professional, who owns Alphabet Shuffle, LLC, in Menominee, Michigan. Sherry is a Certified Family Mediator and has completed the TAC Adoption Competency Therapist Program. Sherry has worked with the Child Welfare System as a Parent Aide, Wraparound Coordinator, and Birth-to-Three Program before returning to school to get her Masters degree in Social Work. She has spoken in Wisconsin, Texas, Michigan, and Nevada on the issues with orphanages and foster care. Sherry and her husband were licensed foster parents for 20 years and have adopted three children from the Foster Care system. With over 20 years experience working with adults, children, couples and families, she brings a variety of resources to help you grow through whatever challenges you are facing. Her professional and life experience has prepared her to adjust to your individual style and she totally avoids the "one-size-fits-all approach" that most therapists use. She loves being outdoors gardening and enjoys sitting by the water. She is an avid reader, likes to crochet blankets, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Tammy Boettcher

Receptionist

Entertainment at it's finest.

Tammy started as a part-time receptionist for Sherry and quickly worked her way into full-time. Along with her computer skills, love of paperwork and bubbly personality, she brought with her over 15 years experience working in the medical field. When asked what she likes most about working at Alphabet Shuffle, LLC, Tammy is quick to explain that she cannot choose just one thing. With it being a small office, we wear many different hats here and you never know what the day will bring. It is never boring and she enjoys being creatively challenged on all the projects they do.  Working with Sherry has given me the opportunity to meet many great people through the years and utilizes a majority of my talents and interests. She also notes that she loves the staff at Alphabet Shuffle, LLC, and that “they make everyday a good day.”
